Teichert Beef

Ron and Vonda Teichert reside in Cokeville, Wyoming. Ron is a third generation rancher running the land his father and grandfather did before. Vonda loves to visit her kids that live all around the world and interpret for the deaf. As life goes, lots of changes have been made to the ranch and cattle company that the Teichert family started in Cokeville nearly 100 years ago. But they feel extremely blessed to still be doing what they love and continue their stewardship over land and livestock.

QUALITY BEEF

Teichert grass fed and finished beef has a superior nutrient composition and flavor because of what the cattle eat and the way they are managed. Our cattle eat a variety of rangeland grasses throughout their life. We manage grazing patterns in a way that improves the soil and foliage.

 

There are many benefits for grass fed AND finished cattle. If cattle are grain finished the nutritional value drastically decreases. Just a few benefits are a 2-4 times higher Omega 3 ratio, higher beta-carotene, higher in B vitamins, higher in minerals, calcium, magnesium, and less in fat, cholesterol, and toxins. 

Grass finished beef is at its peak in the fall of the year. After the cattle have had the longest amount of time possible on the best feed. We take cattle to slaughter around September and then have your Teichert Beef ready for pickup beginning of October.
